Either way, it's cool.

And, yes, a big race. It typically pulls in some big names in running, and the community really gets into it with regular newscasts leading up to the event and live coverage of the race. It's crazy. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2104840882214526893.post-23289618057177071002012-06-01T08:36:11.914-05:002012-06-01T08:36:11.914-05:00Lisa - interesting perspective! This is just one of those events that you could show up emotionally drained, get there, feed off the energy, and be totally recharged by the time you leave. It's really neat!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2104840882214526893.post-9065105243691432882012-06-01T08:15:37.644-05:002012-06-01T08:15:37.644-05:00Way to keep on moving up! When I worked there, I was in no way, shape, or form any type of runner (or run/walker) and the only response the RUN elicted from me was a GROAN because of the extra time I had to take to get into work. Now, it's a goal of mine to be able to participate in it, and no, I won't be in the walker corral when I do!Lisa VanScoiknoreply@blogger.com
